Judith Anne Veuleman

Judith Anne Veuleman

Judy was born and raised in Calhoun, Missouri and moved to Many with her husband Bill and her family in the 70’s. She worked several jobs including running the Sabine Credit Bureau, but it wasn’t until Bill passed that she found her true calling. She started and ran the area’s first Home Health and later Hospice. Taking care of others brought her joy and became her life’s work. It was in that capacity that she gathered around her a large extended family. She will be missed by so many people whose life she touched. Judy passed peacefully in her sleep after a brief battle with cancer and cardiac problems.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Veuleman, Sr.; son, James Veuleman; mother, Syble Ketchum; sister, Joyce Wasson; and daughter-in-law, Sandra Veuleman. She is survived by son, Billy Veuleman, Jr.; son, John Veuleman and husband Brian; sister, Carol Ketchum; sister, Nancy Ketchum and husband Len; granddaughter, Kristi and Brian; granddaughter, Barbie Hartsfield and husband Scott; great-grandchildren, Connor; Ethan and Lainey; and niece, Lee Ann Wasson.

The family thanks her close friends who have been such a support these last months.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations in Judy’s name be made to the cancer charity of your choice.
