David Brian McCormic

Funeral services for David McCormic, 63, of Many, LA, will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at 5:00 PM at Warren Meadows Funeral Home, Many, LA.

David Brian McCormic was born on Friday, October 10, 1958 in Haughton, LA. He passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022 in Many, LA.

David worked at Boise and was a faithful employee for 34 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved tinkering with cars, fishing and taking his grandkids to the lake.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis Lindburg McCormic and Gloria Colleen McCormic.

He leaves behind his loving wife and children. Wife, Marilyn McCormic; son, Byron McCormic and wife Kandace McCormic; daughters: Gwen Simmons and husband Bobby Simmons, Deanna Hilliard and husband Kyle Hilliard, Nina McCoy and husband David McCoy; step-son, Jonathan Wagstaff; grandchildren: Zane Kilpatrick, Dalila McCormic, Avanna Scaife, Zeek Cranford, Karli McCormic, Wyatt Simmons, Maverick McCormic, Ski Hilliard, Gunner McCoy, Oliver Simmons, Brenley McCormic, Myah McCormic; brothers, Paul McCormic and wife Pam McCormic, Bobby McCormic; sister, Becky Stephens and husband Richard Stephens; the mother of his children, Carolyn Maxey; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; special friends: Hoyt Mains and wife Judy Mains, Brad Williams and Brian Williams and wife Carolyn Williams.

Pallbearers: Bobby McCormic, Nick McCormic, Paul McCormic, Jeremy McCormic, Zane Kilpatrick, Zeek Cranford, David McCoy, Kyle Hilliard and John Wayne McCormic.
