Funeral services for Meredith Denise Meshell, 50, of Belmont, LA, will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Carson Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Feibel and Rev. Scott Bates officiating. Burial will follow in the Spring Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at 5:00 PM at Carson Baptist Church.

Meredith Denise Meshell was born on Sunday, June 11, 1972 in Many, LA. She passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023 at her residence in Belmont, LA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Meshell; father, Jack Lightfoot; paternal grandmother, Bernice Lightfoot and maternal grandparents, Mageline and Gordon Rains.

She is survived by her daughters: Valerie Barnhart and fiancé, Maddison Leigh of Natchitoches, LA, Amber Soileau and husband Brandon of Natchitoches, LA and Paige Barnhart and significant other, Shy Adams of Leesville, LA; mother, Mary Lightfoot of Belmont, LA; brothers, Keith Lightfoot of Zwolle, LA, and Adam Lightfoot of Belmont, LA; grandson, Alvin Jackson Soileau of Natchitoches, LA: along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers: Adam Lightfoot, Keith Lightfoot, Brandon Soileau, Logan Lightfoot, Jacob Lightfoot and Dustin Singletary.

Honorary Pallbearers: Jax Singletary, Hayes Singletary, Alayah Caskey and Alvin Soileau.
