Norma Ruth Frey

Funeral services for Norma Ruth Raymer Frey, 88, of Many, LA, will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church with Bro. Cyle Clayton officiating. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at 5:00 PM at Warren Meadows Funeral Home, Many LA. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Freehouse Cemetery in New Edingburg, AR.

Norma Ruth Frey was born on Saturday, January 5, 1935 in New Edinburg, AR. She passed away on Friday, September 1, 2023 at her home in Many, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Ruth (Carraway) Raymer; brother, Harold Raymer; sisters, Florence Clanton and Fay Black.

Norma was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she served as Treasurer for many years. She was also District WMU secretary/treasurer and a member of the Many Lioness Club and Many Garden Club.

She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Bud Frey of Many, LA; son, Charles Frey and wife Debbie of Daphne, AL.; daughter, Marilyn Bennett and husband Rodney of Simpson, LA.; sister, Verna Stovall of Jackson, MO.; grandchildren, Amy Long (Toby), Kelly Bennett (Jaime), Tyler Martin (Nick), and Karen Cole (Shane); great grandchildren, Chandler Davis, Savannah Long, Konner Bennett, Kaeden Bennett, Madison Hall, Morgan Hall and Elijah Johnson; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be David Barnhill, Konner Bennett, Kaeden Bennett, Chandler Davis, Kip Delatin and Ray McComic.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Superior Hospice- Shanna Ebarb and Sarah Meshell and sitters, Orangie Gosey, Tasha Johnson, Vot Sweet, Jerrica Williams and Mek Brumfield for the excellent care the last 3 weeks.
