Lee Raymond Isgitt

Memorial services for Lee Isgitt, 84, of Many, LA will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church with Bro. Cyle Clayton and Bro. Wayne Chance officiating. Visitation will begin on Saturday at Noon at Calvary Baptist Church, Many, LA.

Lee Raymond Isgitt was born on March 26, 1939 and passed away on September 20, 2023. He retired as a Master Trooper from the Louisiana State Police. Lee R. served the community as a law enforcement officer in various capacities for more than 50 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fisher and Dovie Isgitt; sisters, Peggy Smith and Sharon (Susie) Bridges; daughter, Tanya Leone; grandson, Gabe Campbell and son-in-law, James Campbell.

He is survived by is wife of 44 years, Carolyn Knippers Isgitt of Many, LA; daughter, Sherri Campbell of Belmont, LA; daughter, Johnnie Faye Arthur and husband Benjamin of Stonewall, LA; son, Darrin (D. Ray) Isgitt and wife Janice of Many, LA; son, Kevin Leone and wife Dawn of Many, LA; eleven grandchildren: Darrin Campbell (Meghan), Aarin Alford (Ray), Jared Arthur (Tamara), Logan Arthur (Nikki), Blake Isgitt (Mandy), Ian Isgitt, Meagan Campbell (Jonathan), Hannah Veuleman (Tyler), Lynsi Newman (Andrew), Lesli Simmons (Josh), Lance Leone (Emily); thirty- one great grandchildren; brother, Scott Isgitt and wife Kathy of Many, LA; brother-in-law, Kenneth Knippers of Noble, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
