Graveside services for Shirley Faye Salter King, 87, of Tomball, TX, will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at 12:15 PM at Central Cemetery with Rev. Michael Tanner officiating. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Warren Meadows Funeral Home, Many, LA.

Shirley Faye Salter King was born on Thursday, February 20, 1936 in Natchitoches, LA. She passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023 in Houston, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents Victor N. Salter and Clarice Francis Clower Salter; husband James William King Sr. and her great granddaughter Blakely Lenae Williams-Lewandowski.

She is survived by her daughter Faithe King Laney of Tomball, TX, grandson, Daniel and wife Dr. Katie Laney and great granddaughter, Caroline Laney of Sachse, TX, granddaughter, Grace Laney of Tomball, TX; daughter Hope and husband Scott Williams of Tomball, TX, granddaughter Amanda Williams of Tomball, TX, granddaughter Tiffiny and husband Dr. Taylor Gist and great granddaughters, Camile Gist, Vivian Gist and Jacqueline Gist of Houston, TX; son James William King Jr. and wife Alison of Tomball, TX, granddaughter Angela King of Tomball, TX and grandson Andrew King of Tomball, TX; along with a host of friends.

Pallbearers: Daniel Laney, Scott Williams, Hunter Wilson, Dr. Taylor Gist, Jackie Cotton and Bart Cotton.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Andrew King.
