Newton Wesley Shows, Jr. was born on Monday, July 4, 1932 in Fisher. He passed away on Sunday, Aug. 10, 2014 at his residence in Houston, Texas He is survived by his wife,
Norma Shows, of Houston, Texas; three children, Joanna Peak and husband, Scott; Newton Wesley Shows, III of  Houston, Texas, and John David Shows and wife, Dana, all of Houston, Texas; “sis”, Vivian Stevens of Australia;  five grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Marie Largo Rowland

Marie Largo Rowland, born Oct. 25, 1926 passed away on Aug. 7, 2014 at the age of 87. She was born in East St. Louis, Ill. She grew up in South Illinois. In 1944 she married James H. Largo. They had six children. The family moved to Zwolle in 1982. The couple parted on friendly terms in 1986. They both found happiness with another love. Marie married Herbert “Hoover” Rowland on Oct. 22, 1988. Marie was an active member of Aimwell Baptist Church. She loved missions and serves as WMU director at Aimwell. She also served for several years as WMU director of North Sabine Association. She was a volunteer firefighter for Aimwell Fire Department for 13 years. She loved playing table games with friends. She claimed the hearty laughs they had while playing kept her young and happy. Her greatest desires were that each of her family and friends would truly know Jesus as their Savior. Graveside services were held Aug. 10 at 1:30 p.m. at Denning Cemetery in Orient, Ill.

Glennis Louise Leone was born on Monday, Feb. 18, 1929 in Zwolle. She passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Toledo Nursing Center in Zwolle. Funeral services for Pamela Teater Lee 36, of Zwolle were held on Monday, July 14 at 1 p.m. at New Freedom Fellowship Church. The Rev. Dean Hillman officiated. Interment followed in the church cemetery. The family received
friends at the church on Sunday, July 13 at 3 p.m. until time of service. Pamela was born on January 24, 1978 in Rayville. After a long courageous battle with cancer, she entered into eternal rest on July 11, 2014 at Grace Home in Shreveport.
