Sheila Renee Fife Anthony

Sheila Anthony went to Heaven to be with her beloved Jesus on March 13, 2021 in Shreveport.

Sheila Anthony was born on August 15, 1969. She was 51 years young. Sheila was the only child of Bill and Margie Nell Rogers Fife.

Sheila graduated from Negreet High School in 1987. Her first job was with Shelby Gas Company in Many. Where she met her future husband, Mike.

Sheila loved meeting and talking to people. She made lots of friends in her short life. She was well loved. She also liked to go out and eat and shop. She also loved to hunt, fish and work in her yard.

Sheila married the love of her life, Michael Wayne Anthony on April 28, 2012.

Jackie “Fuzzy” Edward Rutherford, Sr.

Funeral services honoring the life of Jackie “Fuzzy” Edward Rutherford, Sr., 67 of Noble were held on Monday, March 22, 2021 at Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home Many Chapel. Interment followed at Lakeview Cemetery in Noble. Jackie was born on January 26, 1954 in Converse to Edward Ray Rutherford and Bessie Rena (Meshell) Rutherford and he entered into rest on March 19, 2021 in Shreveport.

Fuzzy was a member of the Blackhawks Motorcycle Club for over 34 years. While participating with the group he served 11 years as President, during which time he spent many charitable hours contributing to Sabine Parish by organizing many fundraisers including donating toys, clothes, and food for children in need. He was a lifetime member and elder of the Choctaw Apache Tribe of Ebarb. He also enjoyed many other activities throughout his lifetime such as stock car racing, hunting, and most importantly spending time with friends and family.

Ernestine Belshie ,92, was born in Hemphill, Texas. She was staying at a nursing home in Pasadena, Texas where she had gotten ill. She was transferred to hospice care in Houston, Texas where she passed away on Sunday, March 14th. She will be buried at Deer Park Cemetery on March 22, 2021.

Funeral services for James Guay, 83, of Many, were held on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Buddy Freeman officiating. Burial followed in the Pilgrim Rest Cemetery.

James Guay was born on Friday, October 22, 1937 in Many. He passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Sabine Medical Center in Many.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Guay; parents, Watson and Annie (Maxie) Guay; and his son-in-law, Kerry Hemperley.

Helen Wright, 8o, of Converse, entered into eternal rest on March 10, 2021 in Converse.

Graveside services honoring her life were held on Monday, March 15, 2021 at Converse Cemetery in Converse. Officiating the service will be Bro. Jimmy Price.

Helen was born on June 28, 1940 in Saint Joseph, Tennessee to Hollis and Audrey Burks Stutts. Helen was a member of the Noble Baptist Church. She loved watching her grandchildren play softball and baseball. She spent most of her life babysitting the many children of Converse. In her spare time she spent many hours and drove many miles with her love of garage sales and flea markets.

Preceding Helen in death are her parents, Hollis and Audrey Stutts; husband, Bobby D. Wright; and son, Darwin Wright.

Patricia Ann Campbell was born on Monday, October 26, 1953 in Converse. She gained her wings on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 in Shreveport.

Graveside services for Mr. Roger Henke, 77 of Many, will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at St. John Catholic Church Cemetery in Many at 10:00 AM. Roger passed away January 23, 2021 in Lake Charles. He was born to William and Barbara Henke on August 3, 1943 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

After being drafted during the Vietnam War, Roger traveled the world as he continued to serve his country in the United States Coast Guard, until retiring honorably as an officer. Following his retirement, Roger filled the role of Operations Manager for Cameron Crew Boats in Cameron, Louisiana.

Mrs. Linda Sebren, 77 years old, of Noble, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, after a hard fought seven-year battle with ovarian cancer.

Funeral services celebrating her life were held on Saturday, March 6, 2021, at First Baptist Church of Zwolle, 2501 Port Arthur Street, Zwolle, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Bro. Jerry Penfield and Bro. Marty Williams.

Linda was born on July 18, 1943, to Ellis and Gladys Spears of Mansfield. While growing up in Mansfield, she was involved in numerous organizations and activities where her sweet personality left a lasting impression on those around her. After graduating from Mansfield High School, Linda went on to study at Northwestern State University.

Douglas Curtis born October 31, 1926, died at age 94, February 14, 2021 in his home following a lengthy illness. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Jeannie Barnhill Curtis; his four children and three step children, Douglas Wright Curtis Jr. and his wife Beverly of West Monroe; John Wallace Curtis and wife Pamela of Many; daughters, Linda Curtis Sparks and husband J. T. Sparks of Many; Phyllis Longmire and husband David of Shreveport; step son, Robert Lynn King of Dumas, Arkansas; step-daughters, Twila Kay McElhaney and husband Frankie of South Haven, Mississippi; Kimberly Jean Hicks and husband Kelvin of Hornbeck. He was proud of his 18 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Douglas’s surviving sibling is his brother Wilbert S. Curtis of DeRidder. Gerryl Lee Edler Bourgeois

Gerryl Bourgeois, 86, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2021 in Many surrounded by her loved ones. She was born January 1, 1935 in LaPlace, Louisiana to Walter and Regina (Laiche) Edler, she was one of six children. A visitation for her was held at Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Many Chapel on Saturday, March 6, 2021 with a graveside service to follow at St. John Catholic Church Cemetery in Many.

She married Donald J. Bourgeois of New Orleans on October 13, 1956 and remained married 53 years until his passing in December 2009. In November of 1960, the couple moved to Terrytown, Louisiana where they raised their family and owned a bicycle shop, The Pedal Shop, in Gretna, Louisiana until they retired to beautiful Toledo Bend Lake in 2001.
