Vickie McClung Perry died at the age of 72 on January 11, 2021 in High Point, N.C.

Vickie was preceded in death by her mother and father, Pauline “Polly” Webb of Many, La and William Ernest “Mack” McClung II of Hico, La. Sisters, Martha “Delores” McClung and Thelma McClung Higham, and brother William Ernest “Bill” McClung III of Shreveport, La. and his loving wife Linda Kay Petrus McClung (devoted friend to Vickie). She was also preceded in death by her Aunt, Ruby Ila McClung De Freese of Hico, La., and her Grandmother, Gustie Mae “Tert” Owen McClung of Hico, La. Her Grandparents Samuel Franklin Webb and Lollie Mae Brumley Webb of Many, La. Her Great Aunt Audie Nora Owen of El Dorado, AR and numerous other family members including nephews, Jackie and Billy Bain (Sons of Thelma Higham) and Greg McClung (son of Bill McClung).

Vickie’s Aunt Phyllis Sears Webb (devoted friend to Vickie), loving wife of her Uncle’s, Burton Dennis Webb of Many, La.

Brooke Alane Carroll

Graveside services for Brooke Alane Carroll, 39, of Many, were held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Friendship Nazarene Cemetery with Rev. Patrick Morgan and Rev. James Ericson officiating.

Brooke Alane Carroll was born on Saturday, February 7, 1981 in Natchitoches. She passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Sabine Medical Center in Many.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Edd and Gracie Knippers and paternal grandparents, Duward and Blanche Carroll.

She is survived by her parents, Robert and Connie Carroll of Robeline; brother, Jason Carroll and wife Jennifer of Hornbeck; nephews, Cameron and Noah; and great-nephew, Eli. She is also survived by treasured friends and family members.

Brooke was a loving and much-loved daughter and sister and our loss of her is immeasurable.

Maggie Sepulvado Manshack

Maggie Manshack, 104, of Noble was born Friday, September 29, 1916 and passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at DeSoto Regional Hospital in Mansfield from the coronavirus.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Steve and Ascension Sepulvado; husband, Clarence Manshack; son, Nick Manshack; four brothers, Manuel; Nick; Joe; and Raymond; six sisters, Sally Procell; Angeline Malmay; Cora Meshell; Mabel Sepulvado; Rose Lee Garcia; and Blanche Procell.

Maggie is survived by one sister, Mattie Garcie of Shreveport; two grandsons, Rodney Manshack and wife Elana of Shreveport; John Manshack and wife Rebecca of Bossier City; eleven great-grandchildren, Nick; Kobe; Allie; Bryce; Addison; Bailey; Lacie; Macie; Jozie; Rodney; and Brezie; three great-great-grandchildren, Isabel; Peyton; and Maddox Spinks; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Kim was born April 23, 1965 in Zwolle to Johnny Leon Sepulvado and Ella Faye (Garcie) Sepulvado and she entered into rest on January 5, 2021 in Shreveport.

Tommy Cox was born on Thursday, December 24, 1946 in Many. He passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Oschner Hospital in New Orleans.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J.D. and Mildred (Gandy) Cox; brother, Dr. Larry Cox.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Cox of Florien; son, Joey Cox and wife Jill of Natchitoches; sister, Kim Vines of Many; grandchildren, Ashley Silk and Bryant Silk of Rayville, Louisiana; great grandchild, Nevaeh Silk of Natchitoches.

Charles Ray Ford was born on Saturday, August 3, 1946. He passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020 in Many.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Duffie Ford and Willia Mae (Chism) Ford; brothers, James Howard Ford and Jerry Lynn Ford.

He is survived by his wife Suzanne Ford of Negreet; daughter, Tanya Ford LaGrange of Many; step daughter, Susan Guidry of Many; son, Larry Ford of Memphis, Tennessee; sisters, Joy Baggett of Nacogdoches, Texas; Bobbie Tarver of Florien; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Sara was born August 25, 1944 in Ringgold and passed away December 18, 2020 in Shreveport. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Zwolle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, S.T. and Audrey Neal; husbands, Thomas Van Thurmon and Johnny Glen Moran; granddaughter, Carrie Leigh Thurmon; and two brothers, Jim Neal and Thomas Neal.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Edward Horton and Elizabeth Stewart (Butler) Horton; and daughter-in-law, Linda Morgan.

She is survived by her sons, John Morgan and wife Jennifer of Denham Springs, Louisiana; and Charles Morgan of Satsuma, Louisiana; daughter, Leah Morgan of St. Louis, Missouri; sister, Lou Martin of Natchitoches; brother, Ed Horton of Shreveport; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Thomas “TBird, The Golf Cart Guy” Bird

Thomas Bird was born February 19, 1952 in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Donald Joseph Bird Sr. (deceased), and Joyce Donovan Bird, brother of Donald J. Bird Jr. (deceased), died on December 12, 2020 at Rapides Regional Health Care in Alexandria, Louisiana.

He was the dear husband of Nancy Rothschild Bird of Many, Louisiana, for over 43 years, and the proud father of their children, Gabriel and wife Melissa and their children, Hannah and Donovan; their daughter, Kirstie, and their son Zachary.

Also survived by his mother; his aunt, Joycelyn B. Drum; nephews and niece; cousins; and his best friend of over 30 years, John (Possum) Earhart; and his wife, Mary, former residents of Many for 14 years.
